How did we achieve our goal:
The customer was fully aware of what he wanted from the system and the initial requirements were well documented and sent to us for detail design.
We managed to understand the system easily and we did a design with the help of the customer.
The team compromised a Tech Lead and 2 developers.
Responsibility of the Tech leader was, communicating with the customer and coordinating the developers and managing the deadlines.
Project duration was 10 months development and we managed to deliver the project on time without any problems due to frequent communication.
We as a team practiced agile methodology and the customer was informed of all the major decisions taken by us. We had small iterations and at each cycle we managed to deliver some functionality to the customer and he was responsible for testing those. By doing that we managed to reduce the issues at the final delivery.
Communication was the key factor for our success and we were mainly using Skype chat/voice/video conferencing & GoToMeeting for screen share.
